Episode 4 – Origins of Colchis and Iberia – The History of Saqartvelo Georgia
Hi everyone, thank you for being so patient with this episode. Today, we’ll be talking about the origins of Colchis and Iberia, and how the kingdoms got started up, as well as little tidbits of information that wouldn’t fit anywhere else really. We’ll be talking about a man with a Golden Touch in Asia Minor, pre-Achaemenid rule in the region (they’re the next episode), and the Greek trading towns, and their relations with the Colchians and other proto-Georgian tribes.
